Hope thought that Thomas had come to his senses and realized that he and Hope didn’t need to get married and could go back to how things were. However, that is not the case.

After all, Steffy is trying to wipe out the line and get rid of Hope. Hope needs Thomas but there comes a time that you have to cut ties and Thomas has already done that.

Thomas brought his son home so he could visit his mother. Thomas also wants to let everyone know that has found a woman that wants the same things out of life that he does. Thomas has someone that can give him what Hope still isn’t willing to give. However, Thomas has yet to share this with Hope

Thomas may also decide it would be better for him and Paris to stay at the office in France instead of coming back to Los Angeles.
