The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers reveal that a lot of Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) and John “Finn” Finnegan’s (Tanner Novlan) problems could be solved if Sheila Sharpe (Kimberlin Brown) weren’t his birth mom. Ever since Sheila showed up in Finn’s life, she’s caused nothing but drama!

Since Sheila’s other children have apparently cast her aside, she views Finn as her last hope of building a family connection.

That’s why Sheila refuses to give up and won’t let Steffy stand in her way.

However, it’d be quite the twist if it turned out Sheila wasn’t Finn’s biological mother after all.

Sheila may have been pregnant with Jack Finnegan’s (Ted King) baby once upon a time, but what if her baby was stillborn or passed away shortly after the birth?

In that case, Sheila might’ve swapped babies and buried the traumatic memory. Maybe Sheila stole someone else’s infant and convinced herself that this was her beloved little Finn.

Then again, perhaps there was simply a mistake at the hospital.

There might’ve been an accidental switch between two perfectly healthy babies – and that could leave Sheila’s real son still out there somewhere.

Regardless, it’d be interesting to see Sheila’s reaction if she found out Finn wasn’t the child she gave birth to.

Would that news be enough to send Sheila over the edge? Would Sheila become fixated on finding her actual son and forget about Finn?

At some point, B&B may run out of places to go when it comes to Sheila’s connection to Finn and her rivalry with Steffy.

That’s why it’s worth mulling over the idea of a DNA twist that would change everything.

We should also point out that Finn and Li Finnegan (Naomi Matsuda) will play key roles in a summer mystery storyline that features April (Jamison Belushi) the lab technician.

That could be about revisiting Luna Nozawa’s (Lisa Yamada) paternity, but what if it’s about revisiting Finn’s maternity instead?
