Bold & Beautiful is finally bringing Thomas back from the City of Lights, and the changes since he left aren’t limited to the ones viewers have seen take place in Los Angeles… the dashing designer has a secret of his own!

In what feels like the world of upside-down, Thomas is no longer the stalker and, instead, it’s Hope who has turned a tad obsessive… over Finn. His sister, Steffy, meanwhile, has been rocked by the news that Ridge is installing Brooke in the C-suite right alongside her, not to mention that Sheila’s alive and happily married to Deacon.

As Matthew Atkinson pointed out to SOD, Thomas probably only knows what Steffy (or Ridge) had told him in phone calls, so many of the latest developments, such as Luna being Bill Spencer’s daughter, will come as a huge surprise to him as he works to get back in the loop.

However, Thomas isn’t the only one who’s going to discover they’ve been left in the dark. His family and friends in Los Angeles will find out that during his time at Forrester International, Thomas has undergone a change of his own.

Atkinson previewed, “Thomas has had one particular very large change in his life since he left town,” and teased, “When he comes back, it is something that shocks everyone.”

Did he shave off his facial hair? Did he turn back to the dark side? Perhaps Thomas has hooked up with [Spoiler] as we predicted a while back.
Whatever the “large” and “shocking” change, we won’t have to wait long to discover what it is — Atkinson returns as Thomas on Friday, June 21 in the episode in which Sheila lets it be known that she’s not to be messed with.
