Meanwhile, at Bill’s table, he and Poppy are discussing their reunion after two decades apart. Luna enters, and Bill warmly greets her as his beautiful daughter, causing Thomas to watch with a puzzled expression. Bill then mentions that his newborn daughter doesn’t need a high chair, and Poppy agrees, stating Luna is the better of the two of them. Bill concurs, praising Poppy for raising an exceptional daughter. Poppy shares how happy she is that they can finally eat out as a family, calling it a dream come true, and Luna echoes her sentiment.

In the kitchen, Thomas reassures Sheila that he doesn’t want any trouble and respects her authority. He’s there to do his job well and hopes to win people over. Sheila appreciates Thomas for saving her life, and he’s glad to have done it, emphasizing that they are all part of the Il Giardino family and should get along. Thomas believes in second chances and thinks Sheila does too, considering the many chances she’s received. After Sheila leaves, Thomas looks back at Bill, Poppy, and Luna, who are enjoying their meal. Poppy tells Bill that he always knew Luna was his daughter, and Bill agrees. Deacon arrives and recognizes Luna as RJ’s girlfriend, with Bill proudly claiming her as his daughter. Deacon notes that the Spencer family’s appearance has significantly improved, and Luna expresses her newfound sense of identity. Poppy is thrilled but can’t help but glance at Thomas.

Douglas and Hope arrive at Forrester’s main office straight from the airport, with Thomas mentioning that Douglas couldn’t wait to see Hope. Hope is overjoyed, expressing how much she’s missed both Thomas and Douglas. After Douglas leaves for a snack, Hope and Thomas have a heartfelt conversation. Thomas compliments Hope’s appearance, and Hope admits she’s missed him a lot. Thomas acknowledges that leaving was necessary, but Hope reveals it was harder on her than anyone realized. She’s been struggling and feels lost without him, and she’s incredibly glad to have him and Douglas back.

Hope then notices an engagement ring on Paris’s finger, and Thomas explains that he and Paris are engaged and planning to marry. Hope is shocked, realizing that things have changed significantly. Poppy, reflecting on her past, wishes she had told Bill about his daughter sooner, but Bill insists on focusing on the future now that they’re together again. In the kitchen, Thomas learns from Deacon about Bill’s new family dynamic and expresses surprise.

At Forrester, Hope and Thomas continue their emotional exchange. Hope never intended to hurt Thomas, but acknowledges that she did by turning him down twice. She explains that she was recovering from a divorce and prioritizing her children, which made her hesitant to marry again so soon. Despite this, she values Thomas’s devotion and love and wonders if they can have another chance together. Just then, Douglas and Paris arrive, with Douglas calling Paris “mom,” which shocks Hope. Thomas then reveals his engagement to Paris, leaving Hope in disbelief.
